Karta!Föredragshållare: Alan Sola (Stockholms Universitet) Titel: Disks and slits: scaling limits in conformal aggregation Abstract This talk is devoted to a natural variation of the Hastings-Levitov model in planar aggregation, where clusters are grown by composing simple random conformal maps. I will explain how the choice of model parameter and imposition of regularization lead to different small-particle scaling limits: strong regularization leads to growing disks while weak regularization and strong feedbacks results in randomly oriented slits. This reports on joint work (in progress) with A. Turner (Lancaster) and F. Viklund (KTH). |
