Titel: Leak Detection System ( System för uppdagande av läckor). (Examensarbete - Master thesis)

Abstract Methods to detect leaks in pipelines are important. However, it could be a little bit complicated to choose a relevant method. An intuitive method will be to follow the pressure changes. Since the pressure also is dependent to the outer circumstances, e.g. temperature of the surrounding soil, the model has to take this into account.

This master's thesis include some fundamental theory about heat transfer, which is used in the section of the profile model. This exceeds to the pressure decay model, which is built on Newton's cooling law. Finally, an autoregressive model is treated.
